BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Cross-border e-commerce goods exported from the Horgos Comprehensive Bonded Zone in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have exceeded 1 million pieces this year as of March 29, reported Chinanews.com Tuesday.

On March 29, a total of 310,000 pieces cross-border e-commerce goods with a total value of 510,000 U.S. dollars from Hangzhou, the e-commerce hub in eastern China, left Horgos and passed through Kazakhstan to be transferred to the destination Hungarian overseas warehouse center, marking the achievement of more than 1 million pieces of cross-border e-commerce goods exported from Horgos this year.

As the main border port in Xinjiang, Horgos has explored new cross-border e-commerce business models, including innovative supervision, cargo distribution, cross-border warehousing, and intelligent information service platforms, to further inject impetus into the efficient and high-quality development of China's cross-border e-commerce industry, according to the staff of Horgos bonded zone.
