BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Allianz China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement with Germany's Helios Health GmbH on Friday, when its overseas referral service was launched to provide clients with fast passes to Europe's top-notch healthcare resources, reported Shanghai Securities News.
Helios Health GmbH is a subsidiary to the Fresenius Group, a Fortune Global 500 company. "The Allianz Group and the Fresenius Group are both outstanding German enterprises with global reputation in their fields," said Xu Chunjun, executive director and CEO of Allianz China Life, noting that the two sides are forming a strong partnership by combining their resources in the Chinese market.
Upon launching the referral services this time, Allianz China Life will further improve its full-chain healthcare management system covering processes of prevention, diagnosing, treatment and recovery, catering to the needs of upper and middle income households seeking convenient and high-quality overseas medical service, said Xu.
In the future, the two sides will make active efforts in exploring cooperation opportunities in areas including digital health care and customized insurance products, in a bid to achieve beneficial development for their clients and all stakeholders, Xu noted.
At the signing ceremony, Helios Health GmbH also agreed on the future potentials of cooperation between the two companies, pointing out that they will look further into preventive medicine, rehabilitation medicine, as well as digital healthcare.
