MILAN, Jan. 11 (Class Editori) — Renergetica signed an exclusive agreement with a leading international investment fund for the future contractualization of four photovoltaic system projects. This 75-day agreement will lead to a final project assessment, based on the technical documentation to be provided by Renergetica. All the projects will be developed in Southern Italy, with a total capacity of around 60 MWp.
"The attribution of the exclusive right," the company explained, "represents the first step to the possible subscription, immediately after, of a framework agreement with the same investment fund, lasting five years and aiming at the development of the aforesaid four plants, with an estimated value of over 10 million euros, which may vary on the basis of the technical analysis that will be carried out by the parties and on whose outcome appropriate information will be given".
The agreement may also be extended to other future projects. All four plants will be built in areas with a reduced impact on the land. Stefano Giusto, Chairman of the smart energy company, said he was satisfied that an international and independent asset manager — whose subscribers include some of Europe's leading institutional investors — chose to collaborate with Renergetica. "The negotiations we are conducting," the Chairman concluded, "confirm the quality of the R&D work carried out by Renergetica in recent years". The stock jumped on EGM and marked a rise of 3.66% to 7.36 euros at mid-session. (All rights reserved)
