BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- China's software sector raked in a total revenue of 8,547.1 billion yuan in the first 11 months of 2021, up 18.3 percent year on year, showed data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently.
China's software and information technology service sector maintained sound growth momentum from January to November. According to the official data, companies in the sector reaped a total of 1,015.3 billion yuan in profits, up 8.2 percent year on year, registering a compound annual growth rate of 7.6 percent in the past two years.
In the first 11 months, the revenue of software products totaled 2,176.5 billion yuan, up 14.6 percent year on year. Besides, the revenue of industrial software products was 212.1 billion yuan, up 20.1 percent from a year earlier, 1.8 percentage points higher than that of the whole industry.
