BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- China will further expand the application of photovoltaic power generation in more scenarios at a higher level, reported Shanghai Securities News Thursday quoting Ren Yuzhi, deputy director of the new energy and renewables division at the National Energy Administration.
Ren made the remarks at a forum focusing on the development of photovoltaic (PV) industry which was held in east China's Anhui Province on Wednesday.
According to Ren, the renewable energy development plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) will soon be available for the public and be implemented next year.
With huge opportunities ahead, it should be noticed that the industry also faces many challenges, Ren added.
