BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- A Chinese company of Hainan free trade port (FTP) has recently exported the first batch of goods to its overseas warehouse through cross-border e-commerce.
Worth about 40,000 U.S. dollars, the batch of furniture goods will complete its filing at the Haikou Customs, after which will be transported to a warehouse in the United States from Xiamen's Haicang Port in southeast China's Fujian Province.
With the goods finishing custom clearance, it marks the Jiangdong New Area of Haikou taking the lead in south China's Hainan Province, in terms of accomplishing two modes of the FTP's cross-border e-commerce B2B (Business-to-Business) export supervision pilot service.
Starting from July 1, 2021, China's General Administration of Customs has been promoting the cross-border e-commerce B2B export supervision on a national scale, responding to which, the administration of Jiangdong New Area of Haikou started to work with the Haikou Customs to help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Up to date, the city of Haikou has achieved full coverage of the main pilot business modes of cross-border e-commerce, realizing its comprehensive development through all formats and multiple chains.
