BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese passenger car brands saw their share of the domestic market grow in October, according to data from an industry association.
Their sales of passenger cars accounted for 47.5 percent of all sales of such vehicles last month, up 6.2 percentage points year on year, said the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
Their market share increased 0.6 percentage points from a month earlier, the association reported.
In the first ten months, the sales of passenger cars of Chinese brands jumped 28.1 percent year on year and accounted for 43.8 percent of the total passenger car sales, a market share rise of 6.6 percentage points from a year earlier. Enditem
