BEIJING, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- Launching ceremony of Shenzhen government's online website multilingual version was held on Monday morning.
Shenzhen Government Online is the first platform for Shenzhen government agencies at all levels to disclose government information, provide online services and carry out interactive exchanges. The multilingual version website now provides English, Korean, French and Japanese language services, with multiple functional sections such as About Shenzhen, Business,Travel, Life Guide,interactive communication and etc.

The multilingual version website will publicize the achievements of Shenzhen's reform and opening up in many aspects, and highlight the charm of Shenzhen's modern, international and innovative city image, thus effectively promoting the convenience of foreigners visiting in Shenzhen and foreign-funded enterprises investing in Shenzhen.
The website has provided a list-style work guide, visitors can search and view needed information according to high-frequency items or field blocks, which greatly facilitates foreigners to accurately find what they want with just one click.
The setting of multi-entry interactive consultation services has realized interactive applications such as consultation, suggestion, complaint, and likes. It has actually and effectively built a smooth message interactive platform for foreigners, and provided fast, caring, multilingual communication channels.
It is learned that Shenzhen Government Online was kicked off in September 2006 and has now formed a comprehensive government website group with more than 80 party and government agencies website groups as sub-stations. It has been evaluated among top of the Chinese government portal websites for many years in a row.
Besides, the column "Have Your Say and Make Shenzhen Better", set up on the website after outbreak of Covid-19 pneumonia has collected a large number of foreigners' opinions on epidemic prevention measures. Up to now, the Chinese and English version of the epidemic prevention and control topic of Shenzhen Government Online has been viewed more than 3 million times, and nearly 10,000 pieces of information and news have been released.
In the future, Shenzhen will further set an example in the construction of digital government, and continue to create a market-oriented and internationalized business environment as well as continuously improve the service capabilities and service standard of multilingual websites, said Liu Jiachen, director of Shenzhen Statistics Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality.
