SHANGHAI, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Overseas institutions held more bonds in China's interbank bond market last month, official data showed.
By the end of October, bonds in China's interbank market held by overseas institutions totaled 3.85 trillion yuan (601.56 billion U.S. dollars), said the People's Bank of China Shanghai Head Office in its latest report.
The figure was higher than 3.84 trillion yuan registered at the end of September.
Last month, 10 new overseas institutional investors entered China's interbank bond market, bringing the total number to 1,000, the report showed. Enditem
