BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese entrepreneurs' macroeconomic heat index registered 39.8 percent in the third quarter, declining 2.2 percentage points from the previous quarter, according to a survey conducted by the People's Bank of China.
But the index rose 12.1 percentage points from the same period last year.
Among the entrepreneurs surveyed, 23.9 percent considered the macroeconomic climate "relatively cold," 72.6 percent regarded it as "normal" and 3.5 percent viewed it as "relatively overheated."
The product selling price sentiment index posted 58.2 percent, decreasing 3.9 percentage points from the previous quarter and increasing 10 percentage points year on year.
The raw material purchasing price sentiment index reached 72.0 percent, down 5.6 percentage points from the previous quarter and up 13.4 percentage points year on year. Enditem
