The launch ceremony of 2021 Taoxichuan new products was held on Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue in Jingdezhen on April 20. 12 renowned product designers and maker representatives were invited to share their stories about the new products through live streaming and the offline release events.
At the launch ceremony, the Taoxichuan live streaming base launched a project to support university students in e-commerce live streaming and released relevant policies such as candidacy requirements, product requirements, and details about the support. It is reported that shortlisted candidates of the project will become part of "selected makers". A number of methods focusing on "e-commerce live streaming", such as product purchase and live commerce, will be used to guide and support outstanding "Jingdezhen makers" who started up their business in Taoxichuan, to promote the healthy development of the base and the ceramic industry, and drive the two-way growth of the supply chain and social media influencers and makers.
41 new products were introduced at the new products launch ceremony, including several series of products of tableware, coffee and tea sets. The varied types and styles, such as tableware with flower prints for families, and portable tea sets popular among youngsters, will cater to diversified choices of the market.
Liu Zili, chairman of Jingdezhen Ceramic Culture Tourism Holding Group, said that Taoxichuan is essentially created for life. He expected that led by these 12 designers, Taoxichuan would become a carrier of innovation, entrepreneurship and wealth-making for the youth, and integrate the ceramic culture into everyday life to make ceramic works more reflective of our times and more vivid.
