BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- East China's Jiangxi Province has put a total of 40,581 5G base stations into operation by the end of August this year, Chinanews.com reported recently.
The province had realized full coverage of 5G signals in county-level areas and continued efforts to promote the coverage of 5G networks in its rural townships, noted Xie Shengbin, deputy director of Jiangxi Communications Administration.
According to Xie, the province saw about thirteen 5A-level scenic spots achieved full coverage of 5G networks by the end of August, and Meanwhile, the total 5G terminal users amount to 10.195 million.
In recent years, Jiangxi has attached great importance to the innovation and development of the industrial Internet, continuously speed up the construction of network infrastructure, pushed forward the integration and innovative applications of 5G+ industrial Internet, and further strengthened the safety guarantee of industrial Internet .
