InfoQuest (August 17, 2021) -- H.E. Mr. Chuan Leekpai, President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives said when referring to the deliberation of the budget bill for the 2022 fiscal year, "he believes that the deliberation can be completed within the specified time. On the first day, Article 8 of the bill, i.e. budget for the Ministry of Defence, was deliberated. On August 19 and 20, 42 articles need to be deliberated. The budget for the Ministry of Finance was deliberated on August 19."
Chuan said, if protesters gather outside the parliament building on August 20, the routine measures are sufficient without additional security. Protestors usually could submit a petition to do so. The key is that they must not carry weapons.
