InfoQuest (August 24, 2021) -- Thailand's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that its exports in July 2021 rose 20.27 percent from a year earlier to 22.65 billion U.S. dollars. The above data reflect that Thailand's exports continue to expand.
Excluding the export value of oil, gold and weapons related commodities, Thailand's exports grew by 25.38 percent year on year in July, while its imports amounted to 22.467 billion U.S. dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 45.94 percent, resulting in a trade surplus of 183 million U.S. dollars.
Overall, Thailand's total exports expanded 16.20 percent year on year to 154.985 billion U.S. dollars while its total imports rose 28.73 percent year on year to 152.362 billion U.S. dollars in the first seven months of the year, posting a trade surplus of 2.622 billion U.S. dollars.
