BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chenzhou Area of central China's Hunan free trade zone (FTZ) registered 11.417 billion yuan of foreign trade volume in the first seven months of the year, with the foreign investment in actual use reaching 13.32 million U.S. dollars, injecting new momentum into the development of the area, reported hunan.gov.cn Wednesday.
Established on September 24 in 2020, Chenzhou Area has a total area of 19.84 square kilometers. By far, the area witnessed a total of 830 enterprises registered business here.
Chenzhou Area serves as a new engine for industrial restructuring of Hunan FTZ. Since its establishment, it has witnessed the signing of 25 projects in the area including logistic park and intelligent manufacturing technology park construction, involving a total investment of more than 11 billion yuan.
