BEIJING, Aug. 2(Xinhua) -- 165 overseas institutions and foreign institutions in China from 108 overseas countries and regions have confirmed their participation online or offline in the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Service (CIFTIS) which will be held in September 2-7, said Sun Yao, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau.
The countries and regions include 81 ones those have signed Belt and Road cooperation agreements with China, and 29 of world top 30 countries and regions in service trade.
According to Sun, 48 percent of the registered companies for exhibitions at the 2021 CIFTIS are the Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading enterprises.

Theme on "Enabling a Digital Future, Driving Development with Services", the 2021 CIFTIS will set up about 130,000 square meters of exhibition area, and organize more than 100 forums, conferences, promotion, and negotiation activities.
Moreover, China's leading domestic and international enterprises in digital services such as 5G, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain and cloud computing will be invited to showcase the latest progress, achievements and applications in the digital, web-based and intelligent development of global services.
