BEIJING, June 2 (Xinhua) -- China's courier sector has delivered more than 40 billion parcels as of June 1, according to the State Post Bureau (SPB).
This year, it took only five months for the industry to handle 40 billion parcels, a record time, two months less than it took to handle the same quantity last year, according to the bureau.
On a daily basis, the courier sector had handled 266 million parcels, official data showed.
It is expected that China will see over 95 billion parcels in 2021, said the SPB.
