BEIJING, May 26 (Xinhua) -- A biomedical industry chain alliance was officially established at Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, on Tuesday.
The alliance aims to unite enterprises and public institutions, public platforms, universities, research institutions, and think tanks in east China's Shanghai Municipality, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces to push forward the complementarity of industrial advantages and the division of labor cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The alliance gathered 65 member units including Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Pharmaceutical University, Innovent Biologics, Inc., Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co.,Ltd., etc.
It is learned that the alliance will further advance the accumulation of high-end elements and resource collaboration, quicken the pace for the construction of the high-quality integrated development system of biomedical industry chain in the Yangtze River Delta region, and steer the biomedical industry in the region towards an influential industrial highland in the world.
