BEIJING, May. 25 (Xinhua) -- China's leading short-video sharing platform Kuaishou notched up a total revenue of 17 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, up 36.6 percent year on year, said the quarterly financial report released by the company on Monday.
Its revenue from online marketing services jumped around 161.5 percent to 8.6 billion yuan during the period, accounting for more than 50 percent of the total revenue.
Data showed that Kuaishou's average daily active users (DAUs) on its apps and mini-program in China reached 379.2 million in Q1, representing an increase of 26.4 percent from the same period of last year.
From January to March, the platform saw its average monthly active users (MAUs) in overseas market exceed 100 million.
