BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- China's monthly weighted average interbank lending rate stood at 2.01 percent in April, flat with March and up 0.9 percentage points from a year earlier, central bank data showed.
The monthly weighted average interest rate for pledged repos was 1.96 percent in April, down 0.05 percentage points month on month but up 0.85 percentage points year on year, said the People's Bank of China.
In April, lending, cash bond and repo transactions in the interbank RMB market totaled 112.61 trillion yuan (17.46 trillion U.S. dollars), with the daily average decreasing by 24 percent year on year to 5.12 trillion yuan. Enditem
