BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- 108 projects for Hainan free trade port construction were launched Thursday in Haikou, capital city of south China's Hainan Province, with a total investment of 29.1 billion yuan and a planned investment of 7.9 billion yuan in 2021.
Among the 108 projects as the third batch of the province's free trade port construction projects for 2021, there are 6 projects each with investment of more than 1 billion yuan, and accumulatively accounted for 30 percent of the total investment.
Since the beginning of this year, Hainan free trade port has already launched 357 projects with a total investment of about 100 billion yuan.
Hainan takes the projects as the carrier to implement various policies of the Hainan free trade port, laying a solid foundation for the promotion of the free trade port construction with high quality and high standards, said Shen Danyang, vice-governor of Hainan province.
