A foreign exhibitor introduces products to visitors at the Expo Central China 2019 held in Nanchang, East China's Jiangxi province.
BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhua) -- More than 1,300 enterprises and organizations will participate in the 12th Expo Central China in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province, the Ministry of Commerce said on Tuesday.
The expo, scheduled from May 21 to 23, will hold a total of 71 exhibitions, forums and project matchmaking activities, and six types of special events, said Vice Minister of Commerce Wang Shouwen.
The main exhibition of the expo will cover a total area of 30,000 square meters, featuring technology and finance, international industry, cultural tourism, ecological environmental protection, health care industry, etc.
Expo Central China is the country's only large-scale exhibition approved by the State Council and sponsored by Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Industry & Commerce, China National Tourism Administration, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Federation of Industrial Economics as well as the governments of six provinces of Shanxi, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Anhui.
