BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- China's e-sports market saw its sales revenue reach around 136.557 billion yuan last year, up 44.16 percent year on year, according to a report jointly released by several organizations including the China Audio-video and Digital Publishing Association (CADPA).

Zhang Yijun, first vice chairman of the CADPA, noted that the CADPA will be committed to promoting the standardization of e-sports industry in a bid to further push forward the high-quality development of the sector.

According to Zhang, at present, China is organizing relevant experts and enterprises to draw up standard development plans for e-sports sectors.
