BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhua) -- China's privately offered funds managed a total of 17.22 trillion yuan (about 2.64 trillion U.S. dollars) by the end of March, industry association data showed.
The figure went up 58.8 billion yuan or 0.34 percent from the end of the previous month, according to the Asset Management Association of China (AMAC), an industry body supervised by China's securities regulator.
China had 102,852 privately offered funds at the end of March, up 2,084 or 2.07 percent from the end of February, according to the AMAC.
By the end of March, the number of institutions that managed these funds dipped 0.37 percent month on month to 24,533, AMAC data showed. Enditem
