BEIJING, April 12 (Xinhua) -- The inauguration ceremony of the Indonesian regional headquarters of China Railway Group, also known as CREC, was held last Saturday in Jakarta, reported chinanews.com last Sunday.
Indonesia's Chief of Presidential Staff Office Moeldoko and the country's Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi attended the inauguration ceremony.
They expressed their gratitude to the company's indelible contributions to Indonesia's infrastructure construction, hoping CREC to increase its presence in the country.
The CREC will further facilitate the construction of Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway (HSR) to ensure its operation as soon as possible, said Zhang Wei, the chief representative of the company's Indonesian branch, adding that the company will leverage its strengths to deepen cooperation between China and countries along the Belt and Road (B&R).
