MILAN, April 1 (Class Editori) -- Radici Group will enhance its production capacity in China, where works to build the new 25,000-square-meter plant started. An overall investment of about 20 million euros in the industrial park of the district of Suxiang, in Suzhou, in light of the high growth prospects of the business in Asia.
"High Performance-Polymers represent a highly strategic business for the Group," as explained to MF-DowJones by Maurizio Radici, Vice Chairman and CEO of the company specialized in the production and supply of polyamides, chemical intermediates, high-performance polymers, synthetic fibers and non-woven materials. "The structure of the Business Area includes a network of productive and commercial units in Europe, North and South America and Asia, which allows the Group to meet its clients' needs both at a local and global level with a whole, innovative and sustainable offer. This is why we have decided to further strengthen our presence through new and modern production plants, increasing our production capacity and therefore our level of efficiency all over the world".
To this end, the Group has planned investments worth over 35 million euros to ensure growth and sustainability, with the aim of developing not only in the People's Republic of China, where the production capacity is intended to be increased by 30,000 tons per year.
In North America, the new 20,000-square-meter Mexican facility was inaugurated. It will be necessary to support ongoing and future development in Europe, one of the core markets, especially for the automotive, electrical-electronics and consumer goods sectors. On the other hand, Radici increased its production capacity by 15,000 tons per year, "we want to be proactive with all our customers and become their strategic partner, by finding innovative and sustainable future solutions together".
