BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Agricultural Bank of China, one of the country's four big state-owned lenders, saw its revenue and net profit up year on year in 2020.
The bank last year raked in a total revenue of 657.96 billion yuan (about 100.24 billion U.S. dollars), an increase of 4.9 percent from a year ago, according to the bank's report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Its net profits rose by 1.6 percent year on year to hit 216.4 billion yuan during the same period, said the report.
The lender last year stepped up efforts in improving inclusiveness and availability of financial services, according to the latest statement on its website.
New loans to private enterprises throughout the year reached 404.9 billion yuan, while new inclusive finance loans to small and micro enterprises expanded 62.3 percent to 369.2 billion yuan, the statement showed. Enditem
