BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) -- China saw sales of new-energy passenger vehicles soar in February, industry data showed.
The retail sales of new-energy passenger cars reached 97,000 units, up 675 percent year on year, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association.
The wholesale volume of new-energy passenger vehicles grew 640.2 percent year on year to reach 100,000 units.
SAIC-GM-Wuling, Tesla China and BYD all reported new-energy passenger vehicle sales that exceeded 10,000 units last month.
