BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) -- Changjiu Logistics (603569.SH) announced on Tuesday that its wholly-owned company in Poland will acquire a 30-percent stake in ADAMPOL S.A. for 18.3 million euros.
The ADAMPOL S.A. is engaged mainly in the automobile logistics, quality acceptance before vehicle delivery, warehousing, and car rental maintenance, etc., with its business covering Poland, Spain, Belgium and Russia and other European countries. It has about 400 transport vehicles and a total storage area of about 400,000 square meters.
The acquisition is aimed at helping the company build a long-term logistics international operation network to provide supporting logistics service for the automobile manufacturers in China to enter the international market, according to the Shanghai-listed company.
Headquartered in Beijing, Changjiu Logistics has established a number of wholly owned and holding subsidiaries nationwide. With more than 40 business centers across China, it has created a nationwide distribution network of automotive logistics resources.
