BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- China's postal industry registered solid expansion last year, with the sector's business revenue and volume surging, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported on Thursday.
The industry saw its business revenue reach 1.1 trillion yuan last year, up 14.5 percent year on year, according to the country's State Post Bureau.
Besides, the business volume of the sector amounted to 2.1 trillion yuan in 2020, an increase of 29.7 percent from the same period of last year.
In December alone, the sector's business revenue and volume came in at 110.93 billion yuan and 230.03 billion yuan, respectively, up 15.5 percent and 34.3 percent compared with a year earlier.
