BEIJING, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- China has ramped up financing support for the development of cultural and tourism industries.
According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 320 cultural and tourism projects were scheduled to receive a total investment of 619.41 billion yuan and about 232.54 billion yuan of funds.
Theses projects were selected jointly by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other six financial institutions, including the China Development Bank, the Export-Import Bank of China and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China.
In 2019, the ministry and the six financial institutions carried out the selection of cultural and tourism investment and financing projects nationwide with an intention to further push forward the development of relevant industries.
An official with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism noted that some of the projects have already been put in place and obtained credit support.(Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
