BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings announced on Monday that it will form a smart electric vehicle company with Baidu Inc, the Chinese internet search giant, reported by Shanghai Securities News.
The two companies will cooperate in car manufacturing based on Geely's leading Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) which breaks through the boundaries of traditional car manufacturing.
Through the integration of hardware, system, and ecological layers, the SEA is committed to building a future travel service system with unlimited interaction and extension, providing users with continuously optimized personalized services and growing travel life.
Before the EV company formed this time, the two sides has already launched extensive cooperation in areas such as intelligent networking, intelligent driving, home automation, and e-commerce.
