HARBIN, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- The annual oil and gas output of Daqing Oilfield Co., Ltd. totaled 43 million tonnes in 2020, accomplishing its set goal, the company said on Friday.
The company reported around 30 million tonnes of domestic crude oil and 9.31 million tonnes produced overseas in the period.
The Daqing Oilfield, one of China's largest oil production bases in northeastern Heilongjiang Province, also produced about 4.66 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2020. It amounts to an increase for ten consecutive years.
Discovered in 1959, the oilfield has made a significant contribution to China's modern petroleum industry system. Enditem
