BEIJING, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- China's production of 10 major non-ferrous metals rose 4.6 percent year on year to 56.32 million tonnes in the first 11 months of 2020, official data showed.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the pace of growth accelerated from a rise of 4.3 percent in the January-October period last year.
The 10 major non-ferrous metals are copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel, tin, antimony, mercury, magnesium and titanium.
The production of electrolytic aluminum, which accounted for nearly two-thirds of the total output, increased 4 percent from the previous year to about 33.82 million tonnes in the first 11 months of 2020. Enditem
