BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- SAIC-Iveco Hongyan Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (SIH), a heavy-duty truck manufacturer, has been quickening its pace to grow footprint across global markets.
Since the beginning of this year, the company has actively exported its vehicles, such as tractors, dump trucks as well as all-wheel-drive heavy-duty trucks, to the Belt and Road countries, turning the pandemic crisis into business opportunities and further accelerating its global expansion.
In October, the company shipped a number of all-wheel-drive heavy-duty trucks to Turkmenistan, which helped the company further expand its market presence in Central Asia.
It is learned that all trucks sent to Turkmenistan were customized to meet the actual demands of local companies.
Besides, the company also successively delivered a batch of military vehicles to Cambodian customers, tractors to Vietnamese customers, and dump trucks to African and Uzbek customers as scheduled this year amid the company's efforts to overcome the negative effect of the COVID-19 pandemic and further expand its global footprint.
It is reported that SAIC-Iveco Hongyan's market share of heavy trucks has ranked first in China for three years in a row. In addition, the company's dump trucks are also highly recognized by overseas users due to their strong power, high load-bearing capacity, as well as their high efficiency, safety and reliability.
