SHENYANG, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- A new air cargo route was launched on Wednesday, linking Dalian, a city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, and Seoul, capital of the Republic of Korea (ROK).
At 11:30 a.m. Beijing Time Wednesday, the cargo flight carrying 15 tonnes of mail and cross-border e-commerce goods, took off from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport to Seoul.
It is learned that the route is the first direct air mail service between Liaoning and the ROK.
The cargo flight,mainly loaded with clothes, accessories and daily necessitiess, will run twice a week.
Operated by China Postal Airlines, the route will greatly improve the efficiency of mail transportation and build an international logistics channel between Liaoning and the ROK. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
