WUHAN, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- An international digital trade conference closed on Sunday in central China's Wuhan city, with business deals valued at 356.1 billion yuan (54.5 billion U.S. dollars) signed.
The 2020 Global Digital Trade Conference, the largest economic and trade event in the city since it was hit hard by COVID-19 early this year, drew 5,126 Chinese and foreign enterprises to its online and offline activities.
More than 280,000 visitors from 53 countries, including diplomats, businessmen and Wuhan citizens, attended the 9-day conference.
Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, is a fertile land for digital trade with its advantages of market, production factors, science and education, Lu Yong, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, said at the event. Enditem
