BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- China-Middle East & North Africa (Morocco) International Trade Digital Expo, which kicked off last Thursday and will last for ten days, has attracted over 10,000 buyers from the Middle East and North Africa to look for business opportunities in China.
The expo, hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and organized by China Chamber of International Commerce, is aimed at promoting exchanges and cooperation between China and the Middle East as well as China and North Africa. More than 1,200 domestic enterprises have registered and attended the expo.
Ke Liangdong, vice chairman of the CCPIT, noted that the expo has closely followed the market needs of the Middle East and North Africa, created an online exchange platform for exhibitors, and provided precise matchmaking services. It is a pragmatic measure to deepen economic and trade cooperation between China and the Middle East as well as China and North Africa under the epidemic.
"China's vast domestic demand market will bring more opportunities to the business communities of all countries and regions in the world, including the Middle East and North Africa," said Ke.
The categories of exhibits in the expo cover building materials, energy and environmental protection, power electronics, auto parts, home furnishings and gifts, as well as textiles and clothing. During the expo, five series of special matchmaking meetings will also be held online. (Edited by Zhang Yuan with Xinhua Silk Road, zhangyuan11@xinhua.org)
