BEIJING, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- Construction of a cross-border e-commerce industrial park has recently started in the Dalian Area of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ), the local newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The cross-border e-commerce industrial park is located in the export processing zone of Dalian, with a planned investment of 200 million yuan (about 30.32 million U.S. dollars), covering an area of 30,000 square meters.
To be specific, there will be more than 10,000 square meters for the cross-border commodity display and trading, which is expected to be completed in October 2021.
Dalian Area will accelerate construction of the cross-border e-commerce import collection center and the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive distribution base, give full play to the policy advantages, and build the industrial park into an important cross-border e-commerce integrated service platform.
It is learned that the industrial park will realize the seamless integration of the links involving the cross-border commodities, such as purchase and sales, payment and financing, warehousing and transportation, customs declaration and inspection, and aim to become an experience center and transaction center for purchasing international goods.
Meanwhile, the industrial park will make efforts to build itself into an important platform for the goods produced in the Republic of Korea (ROK) and Japan to enter the Chinese market. (Edited by Hu Pingchao with Xinhua Silk Road, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
