BEIJING, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- The China International Travel Mart 2020 (CITM 2020) will kick off in Shanghai on November 16 and opens to the public on November 18, aiming to promote the resumption of cultural and tourism industry and deepen exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, reported by people.cn on Tuesday.
The CITM 2020 is expected to be an important measure to promote the formation of China's new development paradigm with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other, and to accelerate the high-quality economic development.
The 45,000-square-meter mart has nearly 1,500 exhibitors, including about 50 ones from foreign countries and regions.
In addition to bringing the latest high-quality cultural and tourism products to the public offline, the mart will also launch an online "cloud exhibition" which allows exhibitors to showcase new cultural and tourism resources and new products to audience at home and abroad.
In terms of the transactions, buyers and sellers can make appointment matching through the online system before the exhibition and conduct one-on-one online negotiation, or directly talk offline in the negotiation area of the exhibition hall.
The CITM 2020 also highlights the integration of cultural and tourism industries with a number of international cultural and tourism cooperation projects and achievements to be shown at the mart. Palace Museum, the National Museum of China and other museums will set up booths to showcase the fine arts of Chinese traditional and modern culture.
