BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The domestic mobile games of China recorded good performance in overseas market in October this year, reported Shanghai Securities News Tuesday.
SensorTower, a San Francisco-based mobile application analysis platform, released the global revenue ranking of Chinese mobile game publishers in October, saying that China's mobile game manufacturers harvested s in October thanks to multiple new games, and some A-share listed game companies also yielded fruitful results in overseas business.
Data from the platform showed that 30 domestic mobile game publishers made a total global revenue of 2.1 billion yuan in October, up more than 9 percent from September and accounting for 30.5 percent of the global total.
Among the 30 domestic mobile game publishers, Tencent, Mihoyo and NetEase are among the top three in terms of global revenue ranking, while A-share listed companies Wuhu Sanqi Interactive Entertainment Network Technology Group Co., Ltd. (002555.SZ), Youzu Interactive Co., Ltd. (002174.SZ), Perfect World Co., Ltd. (002624.SZ) and Ourpalm Co., Ltd. (300315.SZ) ranked 7th, 12th, 15th and 27th, respectively.
Currently, the overseas market policies are loose, and the overseas revenue of China's mobile game publishers is expected to rise further with the enhanced research and operation capabilities of domestic makers, said a report released by a brokerage company.
The report also noted that domestic self-developed mobile games have grown rapidly in overseas markets since the beginning of this year, and leading companies with more high-quality products is at the cutting edge of the game industry in overseas market.
