BEIJING, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Universal Beijing Resort (UBR), the upcoming theme park resort scheduled to complete construction in 2020, recently announced its strategic partnership with commercial insurance group China Life, reported Chinanews.com Monday.
Through this partnership, the two sides will cooperate in areas including insurance services, brand marketing and social welfare programs, providing guests at UBR with safety insurance while enjoying a fun entertainment experience in the park.
According to the agreement, China Life will provide UBR with comprehensive insurance services during construction and operation. During the construction phase, China Life has already provided insurance products with a sum insured totaling about 30 billion yuan with coverage including construction projects and liability insurance. After UBR's opening, China Life will also provide customized insurance services based on the guests' needs, the park's operating standards and a range of scenarios.
The partnership will act as an example of cooperation between cultural tourism industry and the financial and insurance industry and also inject more confidence and vitality into the overall development of the regional economy and the Beijing sub-center, according to the management team of Beijing International Resort Co., Ltd., the owner of UBR.
The two sides will also jointly launch a series of brand marketing creative activities. For example, UBR will integrate the China Life brand elements into special zones in the park.
The cooperation with UBR reflected China Life's determination on supporting the sustainable economic recovery and high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry. Through providing UBR with comprehensive insurance service for its construction and operation, China Life will continue leveraging its leading capabilities in financial services for UBR and its guests.
In the future, UBR and China Life will also jointly roll out themed public welfare activities to benefit more social groups.
