BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- China's Geely Technology Group on Sunday signed a strategic cooperation agreement on intelligent power station and new energy vehicle (NEV) plants projects with Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, reported local newspaper Wednesday.
The signing of the agreement marks another important move for the development of NEV in Jinan, and the city is expected to deploy 200 Geely intelligent power stations in the future, expanding the production scale of Geely NEV to 10 billion.
The intelligence of the power station is mainly reflected in that the mobile phone APP can navigate the vehicle to the nearest exchange station and change the electricity for the vehicle in 90 seconds, which improves the energy replenishment efficiency and convenience of the electric vehicle.
As a division made up for innovative brands under Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings Limited, Geely Technology Group acts as an incubator for young brands by giving them access to Geely global resources.
