BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- China will firmly advance the opening-up of financial service sector to boost new advantages in developing finance, said Guo Shuqing, chairman of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBRIC) at the Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum 2020 on Wednesday.
China will also enhance inclusive finance in an all around manner, foster healthy development of pension insurance and fully leverage the significant role of scientific and technological progress in improving financial efficiency to recreate new advantages for financial development, according to Guo.
In face of profound internal and external changes, China deepened reform of financial service industry and firmly adhered to the risk bottom line to serve the real economy and propel high quality development, Guo said.
The Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum 2020 is a 3-day event opened on Wednesday and will last till Friday. Themed on "Financial cooperation and reform under global changes", the annual conference aimed to be platforms for China's participation in global financial governance, global financial industry communications and cooperation, interaction between financial sector and the real economy and national financial policies releasing.
