BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- The China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yunnan FTZ) on Tuesday signed an agreement with the China (Heilongjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Heilongjiang FTZ) to jointly promote institutional innovation, reported Yunnan Daily Wednesday.
According to the agreement, the two free trade zones will cooperate in information sharing and exchange, building platforms for mutual benefits among other aspects, and carry out collaborative innovation in key areas, so as to strengthen communication and collaboration between pilot free trade zones in China's border regions.
It's learned that Yunnan FTZ has achieved fruitful results in institutional innovation and accumulated rich policy experience in FTZ construction.
By July 2020, all the 106 national pilot reform tasks in the construction of Yunnan FTZ have formed work plans, of which 119 are case experience summaries, and 39 are reported to the Ministry of Commerce.
By taking the location advantage, Yunnan FTZ has made bold innovations in cross-border trade, production capacity cooperation, park construction and social management, and its innovative cooperation with Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos in the economy and trade field has helped further facilitate the cross-border trade between Yunnan and South and Southeast Asian countries, and improve Yunnan's business environment.
