BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- CITIC Group inked on Monday a strategic cooperation agreement with the provincial government of Southeast China's Fujian Province to provide all-round financial services for the province, the Shanghai Securities Journal reported on Tuesday.
According to the agreement, CITIC Group will introduce its financial and industrial resources to the province in equipment manufacturing, environmental protection, infrastructure construction, Belt and Road project construction, digital Fujian construction, etc.
Yu Weiguo, secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Fujian Provincial Committee, hopes that the two sides can strengthen comprehensive cooperation in various areas such as advanced manufacturing, technological innovation, etc.
Zhu Hexin, chairman of CITIC Group, noted that the company will further expand its investment in Fujian in infrastructure construction, equipment manufacturing, energy, technology, etc., and provide a full range of financial services for government departments and market entities in a bid to make greater contributions to Fujian's economic and social development.
