The Talent Office of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee has released the "Hainan Free Trade Port High-level Talent Classification 2020".

The classification scheme reflects changing trends and skills required for the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, in line with the latest international guidelines. The amendments also provide a more scientific and standardized approach to high-level talent acquisition.

Based on a market-oriented talent recruitment mechanism, high-level recruits are classified into five categories of A, B, C, D and E. Evaluation criteria include: salary income and income tax; professional and social work experience; work performance; and internationally recognized achievements and qualifications. E-sports award winners, Internet celebrities, and online writers have been added to the talent pool.

Both domestic and foreign recruits will be evaluated under the new standards.

The "Hainan Free Trade Port High-level Talent Classification (2020)" was released today.
