BEIJING, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- China Post Group Co., Ltd. (China Post) on Saturday launched a chip-carrying stamp sheet in commemoration of the 40th National Best Stamp Popularity Poll.
With the ultra-thin NFC (near field communication) chip built in during traditional printing process, this is China's first NFC chip stamp and stamp collectors could read the chip through China Post's mobile App.
The chip stamp integrates the internet, cutting-edge technology into traditional stamps, which not only represents upmarket anti-counterfeiting technology, but also meets the requirements of anti-counterfeiting traceability and information application, according to a source with China Post.
