BEIJING, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Ping An Consumer Finance, the consumer finance arm of the Chinese financial conglomerate Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China (Ping An), recently partnered with the global home furnishing giant IKEA and the Japanese convenience store brand FamilyMart to provide clients with consumer finance services.
Under the cooperation, Ping An Consumer Finance will provide preferential loans for consumers who buy products of IKEA and FamilyMart. The two brands will give customers discounts if they use the app of Ping An Consumer Finance to make purchases.
The cooperation with IKEA and FamilyMart is a prelude to Ping An Comsumer Finance's ambition to build a financial ecosystem covering all consumption scenarios in partnership with brands favored by young consumers to enhance consumer experience, according to an executive with Ping An Consumer Finance.
Launched in this April, Ping An Consumer Finance is built on Ping An's expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and cloud computing. Its core technology system underpins the entire consumer finance businesses, including targeted customer acquisition, product innovation, credit review, risk management, post-lending management and customer service.
