BEIJING, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China's telecommunication company ZTE on Tuesday to jointly promote the 5G development and the building of digital Guangxi, reported by Guangxi Daily.
Guangxi has attached great importance to the construction of the digital economy and issued a series of policies and measures to accelerate the development of Guangxi's 5G industry since last year.
As one of the Chinese telecom giants, ZTE has carried out a series of cooperation with departments and enterprises in Guangxi in 5G intelligent manufacturing, 5G enterprise private network transformation, 5G smart tourism, smart city, smart medical care and others areas.
According to the agreement, Guangxi will further integrate advantageous resources and cooperate with ZTE in big data, cloud computing, distributed database, financial cloud, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, 5G and other fields to jointly promote the deep integration between technologies and industries.
